This week Stubs talks about all of the awesome free agency things that are going on in both the NHL in the NBA. We have the return of a warrior (if you will) with Jose Reyes come back to the Mets, and it’s a good thing that the captain steps up and basically says that everyone’s been thinking. At this point we go through the top 100 players of the NFL but we pretty much stopped at 10, Stubbs gets his kicks from what he thinks will be the top teams in the NFC and the AFC and plenty more to talk about!
In episode 28 of Stubs Sports Radio, we dive right into Major League Baseball and all the crazy happenings that are going on before the All-Star break, exciting things are going on in the the world of picthers hitting home runs. We chat a little bit on the development of the NHL and is Las Vegas really a good spot for a new team? We talk about the crazy things that happened in the NBA and just a little bit of doing a good thing in your heart will go a long way in the NFL. Make sure to follow Stubs sports radio at his social media threads on Twitter and Instagram @stubsmcbeepster.
This week we look at the BIG WINNERS and the BIG LOSERS throughout the wide world of sports, and for the record, since the very first episode, Stubs has been giving you pretty good predictions as to who is going to win the biggest games in sports. Not too bad if you ask us. We find out that Steven A. Smith is 0-6 when it comes to picking an NBA champion and so far Stubs is 1-0.
Due to technical difficulties, this weeks episode of Stubs Sports Radio is a bit shorter. No fear, next week Stubs should be back in full force, but until then listen to Stubs talk what he knows best… the world of SPORTS!!
It’s EPISODE 25 and we are 1/4 of the way to 100! This week Stubs makes a promise that will be hard to keep, but he will do it no matter what it takes. We talk about the NFL QBs that are “showing” promise, we chat about the NBA finals with the hopes that it is not a repeat of last year, and the NHL (what a crazy ride it has been). We debunk the “GREAT ONES” Sid the Kid statement and explain why we are frustrated with the success of a certain Washington National.
Well its official, Stubs is boycotting the Giants in the 2016-17 NFL season, for reasons I’m sure you’re all aware of by now. Its wasn’t hard for him to make up his mind but it is something that had to be done. STUBS calls it again, a match up of last years NBA finals and this time cheering for the CAVS. He is willing to trade his (only out of the box once) pair of KD’s in exchange for something of equal value, he makes his picks for this years MLB All-Star game and the NHL finals game one goes to. . .
This week we take another ride home with Rodney and get his thoughts on what the NBA finals could possibly look like. We give a shout out to the one and only Craig Seager, getting the Jimmy V Perseverance Award at this years ESPY’s. The NHL winners and losers can be decided TONIGHT, WEDNESDAY the 25th, Mark Sanchez is doing shockingly well for having his thumb operated on a few days ago, and the MLB is like a big huge boat… “STEADY AS SHE GOES”.
This week we do the one thing that we thought Stubs would never do… and that is TALK ABOUT THE NBA. Lets be real, this is the only time of the year that the NBA is worth anything. Are you shocked that the 76ers and the LAKERS have the 1st and 2nd pick in the Draft? I’m not. And we chat with my co-worker who will name his next daughter KOBE, no joke. Stubs chats about his Great Grandfather being one of the first recorded causalities in a pro football game, and Andrew Fredi Gonzalez gets fired like everyone else, AN EMAIL!
Episode 21, it’s crazy to think that Stubs has had his home for 21 episodes but none the less, Stubs fills you in on whats going on between him and Mike from the Midnight Jury, a friendly but intense fued on Twitter, and the awesome guys over at BEARDBOOZE.COM say that they will be the judge of whatever we are doing. . . We chat about Baseball for a majority of the first half of the show, and again talk about how stupid the Philadelphia Eagles really are. The ONLY TIME to watch the NBA is now, and YES we are cheering for Cleveland.
We introduce the one beer drinking Instagram that has the STUBS stamp of approval and will let you know what they are drinking.
This week Stubs takes you on a journey… well its more like a ride along from work to home and everything n between. We chat Johnny Football and what is in store for him, the NBA playoffs (pretty much the only time of the year that the NBA is actually worth watching), not much to chat about in the world of MLB other than the Yankees really biting the big one right now, and of course NHL PLAYOFFS. Stubs literally can’t sit still for more than a minute.
